This past week I decided to enlarge the garden beds all around my house. I spent 3 glorious days immersed in dirt, feverously digging holes and moving plants. I felt like I was on a green thumb high as I labored. My body is not as young as it used to be and kept giving me warning signals to stop but I honestly just couldn't because I was in enjoying creating these beautiful, wide beds filled with such texture and color. As a result, as I write this today, I'm sitting here with my arm in a sling, resting it. It sure was fun while it lasted.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00565307797634407119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1910312030641182921.post-32042357937913199492010-05-26T12:53:40.321-07:002010-05-26T12:53:40.321-07:00I realized how being in the moment felt when I wen...I realized how being in the moment felt when I went to a 10 day silent retreat a few years ago. After the third day of meditating I became aware of this feeling of pure energy surrounding me. It was unlike anything I had ever felt before, so very peaceful and joyful. My peaceful state lasted for almost 6 weeks after I came back from the meditation. I can honestly say I have never felt more clear headed and centered in my life.
I loved Geneen's comment about taking up every inch of our skin and occupying the space in our bodies we have been given.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00565307797634407119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1910312030641182921.post-44220649704887973782010-04-26T14:49:31.929-07:002010-04-26T14:49:31.929-07:00What a beautiful video. I did some research on the internet and it seems that most people who have nut allergies can tolerate coconuts because the proteins are so different. Hope that helps.
MichelleMichellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13795989905372345229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1910312030641182921.post-10584416614733046982009-08-21T11:08:52.431-07:002009-08-21T11:08:52.431-07:00Thanks for visiting my blog Michelle!
